The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
